  1. 01

    Mile 01 · The house

This site is operated by HKHBIN TRADE LIMITED.

Peak Slope is a short outdoor line: a 3-layer rain shell, a grid fleece, a softshell cap, a 28 litre day pack, dry bags, a titanium canister stove, carbon trekking poles, liner gloves, a closed-cell sit pad and a TPU map case. Twelve pieces, and each one states its denier, hydrostatic head, volume in litres or weight in grams. We are a Hong Kong trading house buying from mills and factories in Guangdong and Taiwan, and we hold no seasonal fashion calendar.

  2. 02

Mile 02 · Choosing the kit

    Fabric first, marketing second.

The shell is a 40-denier nylon face bonded to a membrane and a tricot backer, rated 20,000 mm hydrostatic head, with fully taped seams and a factory DWR. The day pack uses recycled nylon at 210D with a 420D base panel where the fabric scrapes rock and a padded hip belt that carries load off the shoulders. Poles are carbon with carbide tips and replaceable ferrules. If a supplier cannot give us a mill name, a tape specification and a denier, the item does not go on this site.

  3. 03

Mile 03 · Sampling and field trials

Carried in the wet season before it is listed.

Every piece goes out with staff before it goes on sale: the MacLehose Trail in the wet season, Tai Mo Shan in February wind, Lantau ridges in August humidity. We log what fails — carbide tips worn flat, shock cord that loses tension, seam tape lifting at the shoulder, DWR that stops beading after four washes, TPU map cases that go cloudy. A failure changes the specification, or the item never ships.

  4. 04

    Mile 04 · Quality control

Checked per batch, not per photograph.

Before a run is packed we cut a sample: seam tape peel check, a spot hydrostatic test on the shell, buckle and zipper cycle counts, pole joint fit and tip retention, shock cord tension, and a UV and mould inspection on anything nylon or TPU that has been in store. Batch notes stay with the order so a claim can be traced to a mill run. Poles and stoves ship in rigid tube or double-wall cartons, because most of the damage we see is freight, not the product.

  5. 05

Mile 05 · What we will not do

No invented numbers, no mystery warehouses.

We do not dropship from an unknown warehouse, we do not sell used, ex-demo or repaired gear as new, and we do not print waterproof ratings we have not tested. We do not describe a pack as suitable for a named expedition, because that depends on your load, your torso length and your route. We give the numbers and the honest limits. We do not take card details on this site at all.

  6. 06

Mile 06 · Working with you

One working day to answer, a dated lead time to commit.

Write with the item name or SKU, quantity, colour, destination country and the date you need the kit in hand. We reply within one working day, Hong Kong time. Standard orders pack in three working days. Expedition quantities, custom pole lengths and out-of-stock mill runs get a written, dated lead time before you commit to anything. Returns run 14 days from delivery and start with an email, never with a parcel in the post.
